- 4+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment
- TA or Recruitment experience for Hospitality/F&B brand(s)
- Experience working with ATS platforms and recruitment marketing tools
- Familiarity with compensation benchmarking and pay band research
- Strong project management skills and a process-oriented mindset
What the job involves
- Blank Street is seeking a dynamic and strategic Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and innovate our talent acquisition space. This role requires an experienced professional who can operate with autonomy, partner across functions, and help drive our employer branding efforts. You will own the full talent acquisition lifecycle, from identifying top-tier talent to partnering with leaders on effective hiring processes, all while leveraging data to refine and enhance our recruiting strategies
- This role will work with stakeholders across the business to recruit for our Baristas, Multi-Unit Store Leaders, and HQ roles in the US. You will work to provide an incredible candidate experience to applicants all while managing a high requisition load in a fast paced environment. This role is an in-person position based out of the Brooklyn, NY HQ office and will report into the Global Senior Director of People
- Store-Level Hiring: Support field operations in hiring service pros, baristas, and shift leaders to ensure cafes are staffed with top talent
- Full Lifecycle HQ Talent Acquisition: Support recruitment for HQ roles across local and global departments based in the US, owning the job requisition process, candidate intake, screening, and interview coordination
- Employer Branding: Collaborate with marketing, creative, and executive teams to develop and execute a robust employer branding strategy, making the company a talent magnet
- Data-Driven Recruitment: Analyze hiring metrics to identify gaps and opportunities, and develop solutions to improve talent acquisition outcomes
- Continuous Improvement: Build feedback loops with the HRBP, Operations, Learning & Development Manager, and Hiring Managers to iterate and improve hiring processes
- Training Support: Develop impactful Talent Acquisition training for hiring managers to enhance their recruitment capabilities
- Innovative Recruitment Strategies: Experiment with creative ideas to innovate the talent acquisition process and elevate the candidate experience
- Compensation Benchmarking: Conduct pay band research and general compensation benchmarking to ensure competitive offers
- ATS Management: Own and maintain Blank Street’s ATS (Greenhouse), ensuring it supports a seamless recruitment process for both internal and external stakeholders

What started as one electric-powered coffee cart in 2020 has expanded to over 50 locations across New York City, Boston and London. Blank Street wants to serve coffee cheaper than Starbucks but tastier than Dunkin’ Donuts – its main competitors – and has done so with automation, specifically Eversys espresso makers that can produce 700 drinks an hour.
The chain has received mighty financing, including from real estate tycoon Tishman Speyer as well as from General Catalyst Partners and Tiger Global Management. This brand is certainly making its mark as its growth has remained at an impressive rate, especially following its entrance into the thriving coffee shop market in the UK.
