Role
Who you are
- An ambitious and organised sales professional with proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas and looking to make a name for themselves in Enterprise sales
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Previous experience within software, technology, publishing, media, and advertising or design market segments is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills
- Ability to manage a complex sales cycle from demo to negotiation and closing the deal
- Previous experience with using Salesforce is preferred

- As our region continues to grow, we're looking for a dedicated Enterprise Account Executive to join our EMEA Enterprise Sales team in Spain, selling Monotype’s solutions into new and existing logos for the Spanish and Dutch Market.

- As a trusted sales expert, you will consult with prospective enterprise customers across your assigned territories to understand their needs and deliver Monotype’s value proposition
- Learn Monotype product offerings (inclusive of type and technologies) to become a subject matter expert for key brand clients
- Create detailed account plans for each customer to identify new sales and account expansion opportunities in order to reach or exceed your quota
- Successfully communicate Monotype’s solutions up to C-Level through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis and research data
- Interact with individuals from Brand, Marketing, Creative, IT, Finance, Procurement, UX and Legal teams within a key account
- Organise, track and maintain client account and contact information, as well as prospect updates in Salesforce
- Collaborate across the organisation with marketing, support, pre sales engineering and customer success
Our take
Monotype is a giant in the typeface industry, with well over 100 years in the business. It owns the rights to over 10,000 fonts, including A-list players like Helvetica and Times New Roman. Whilst typeface creation might not seem to be the booming industry it once was, Monotype is carving out some interesting new development opportunities in the hopes of further growth.
As more major organizations go digital, and go global, they need to carry their house image across a growing number of diverse markets (and languages) and render the fonts in high definition. Monotype has been developing a strong reputation for designing multi-lingual brand identities - for example, for the city of Dubai - but also works with Google to bring hundreds of historically unrendered fonts online.
In this way, Monotype is smartly transitioning from a designer/developer of contemporary fonts to a facilitator helping brands to expand globally and into the digital space. With offerings in place to provide this service to fast-growing industries like gaming and online streaming, Monotype is hitching its wagon to hugely lucrative markets.
