Role
Who you are
- We are seeking a Senior Manual QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience testing modern web-based SaaS and Mobile applications
- The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, quickly learn complex systems, and ensure high-quality software through comprehensive manual testing
- 5+ years of manual software testing experience
- Experience testing SaaS web applications
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience testing REST APIs using Postman
- Strong SQL skills for database validation
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
Desirable
- Basic knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated industries
- Experience with accessibility and cross-browser testing
What the job involves
- This role partners closely with Product and Engineering teams in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Develop and execute manual test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing
- Validate REST APIs using Postman or similar tools
- Execute database queries to verify backend data and troubleshoot issues
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution using Jira or similar tools
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teammates throughout the software development lifecycle
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
- Reproduce customer-reported issues and verify bug fixes
- Continuously improve testing processes and ensure high-quality releases

US Mobile provides 5G mobile data connectivity in the US, claiming to reach speeds of up to 3GB p/s through eSIMs that can be activated remotely. The company offers a range of plans from cheap "talk and text" to unlimited data packages, the latter of which comes with a variety of perks such as free streaming service subscriptions and free international calls.
Whilst the company will face competition from the growing number of 5G network providers, US Mobile stands out by focusing on providing access to all, from unlimited family 3GB p/s packages to individual basic text and call SIMs. The company also guarantees full US coverage, in addition to providing various group pool packages for families and businesses - features which should see it remain a strong option in the market.
