Who you are
- We are seeking a driven, eager to learn HR Operations Intern to join our Americas HR Operations Team
- We want someone who is a self-starter and passionate about customer service, and excited to learn something new
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge or experience with HR Operations and Labor Legislation
- Self-starter and not afraid of taking the initiative
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters
- Effective communication skills, oral and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Possess the ability to manage multiple projects
- Team player
- Familiarity with HRIS Software (especially Workday) is a plus
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
- Prior experience working in an office environment
- Experience in customer service or customer facing roles
What the job involves
- As an HR Operations Intern, you will help us with all aspects of the employee experience, from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between!
- Partner with our HR Operations Team during the on-boarding process including processing onboarding documents, and new hire welcome kits
- Assist with Offboarding, including exit interview and exit documents
- Scan and file historical employment records, as well as prepare them for offsite storage
- Update our HCM by archiving and transferring data and documents
- Process verifications of employment
- Work with the HR Team on projects, as needed
- Assist in organizing company events
- Gain understanding of all areas of HR by attending meetings/collaborating with broader HR team
