Role
Who you are
- You have already gained 2-4 years of professional experience in data-driven online marketing, ideally with a focus on the Dutch market
- You have a degree in (online) marketing, business administration, communication or media sciences
- You work creatively and have an excellent sense of how visual communication impacts performance in advertising
- You have a good understanding of the overall Marketing Mix and the synergies between specific channels
- You are very confident in dealing with Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads Manager, Google Analytics and Affiliate publishers
- You are organized and can drive various ongoing projects transparently and in a structured manner
- You have excellent Dutch & English skills, both spoken and written. German or other languages are a plus
What the job involves
- You are responsible for the KPI-based planning, implementation and optimization of performance campaigns in paid social (Facebook & Instagram), Display, Video, SEA, Affiliate, and/or Native to achieve growth and ROI goals
- In collaboration with our channel experts, you will monitor and analyse the performance of campaigns with a focus on prospecting and retargeting in order to derive optimization measures
- Based on company OKR’s & market goals, you will work with the Lead/Senior to develop and execute a multi-channel marketing strategy
- The continuous conception, implementation and evaluation of A/B and time series tests for advertising media, targeting landing pages, headlines and derivation of recommendations for action is also one of your main tasks
- You accompany and support conceptually the creation and further development of advertising media with a focus on video advertising in cooperation with our creative team and external media agencies
Our take
Meal replacement drinks are, perhaps surprisingly, beginning to gain more of an audience. The giant in the space is, of course, Huel, who has helped to shift the product’s focus away from weight-loss and towards the more modern trend for nutrition. Consequently, a steadily growing market has emerged over recent years that’s invited more players into the ring - yfood among them.
The company offers a familiar product spread: drinks, bars, and powders that serve as meal replacements containing all the essential vitamins, nutrients, and minerals, with an emphasis on natural ingredients. It’s available on home delivery and in health food stores, and marketed at those with an active, on-the-go lifestyle concerned about maintaining good nutrition.
In fact, the difference between the German company yfood and its US and UK competitors appears fairly slim, and predominantly one of branding. However, it has carved out a substantial niche for itself in Europe and has seen 100% annual year on year growth. In April 2023 Nestlé acquired just under half of the company's shares, a substantial exit for the investors backing the company. yfood, having been profitable for some time, will focus on increasing its market share and developing its product line.
