Role
Who you are
- You are an experienced Product Manager with 3+ years in a growth product role
- You’re highly analytical with deep experience in quantitative and quantitative research methods as well as hypothesis driven development
- You are very comfortable with things like unit economics, churn or cohort analysis
- You have experience working very closely with acquisition, and areas like PPC or social advertising, marketing attribution or CRM are very familiar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Experience in conducting A/B testing and analysing results to optimise growth initiatives; proficiency in utilising analytics and user tracking tools (Hotjar+Mixpanel)
- You're outcomes focused – you have a bias for action to ensure we test and learn as we go, as well as making progress towards the big goals. There’s no time for perfection
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of fintech industry trends, regulations, and customer behaviour would be a bonus
What the job involves
- As a Product Manager, you will focus on achieving business results beyond just getting the projects completed
- The role holder will be responsible for managing various strategic projects and seeing them to delivery/completion. You will be involved in, or have regular dialogue with other key stakeholders, around new and existing products, benchmarking protocol, security standards, pricing and any other metrics that may be required or identified as needed
- Develop and execute growth strategies to drive user acquisition, activation engagement, and retention
- Conduct data-driven analysis to identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions
- Work closely with marketing to build various campaigns and marketing strategies, growth loops and features to push organic product growth
- Work with the engineers in your team to work out how to build, and help them make trade-offs to solve the key problems while retaining velocity
- Set up a test & learn framework that would enable us to validate ideas quickly and cheaply
- Build close relationships with key stakeholders such as Marketing, Operations, Compliance and Finance so that yo

Our take
Banks haven't innovated their consumer offering for decades. The tide is now turning, with fast moving disrupters building consumer-first businesses and products with many more useful features.
Pockit's differentiator is that it targets customers with a ‘thin’ credit file or who are newly arrived in a country, and the account can be opened in just 2 minutes with minimal documentation. This makes it attractive to recent migrants or other customers that don’t have a full financial history and therefore may find it more cumbersome to apply for an account with a high street bank.
With good funding at its back, the company has been steadily increasing operations in the last few years. Most recently, Pockit has partnered with Prizeout (an online marketplace where brands bid for business by offering gift cards), to further uplift the purchasing power of its users that can now make use of the savings offered by these gift cards directly from their Pockit account.
