Role
Who you are
- We are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and building finance processes from 0-1
- You will be one of the key stakeholders in building out a trusted relationship with financial regulators, i.e. the BaFin
- The right person should have a solid finance background, 2-5 years with a respected firm in accounting or finance
What the job involves
- Be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and building finance processes from 0-1
- You will be one of the key stakeholders in building out a trusted relationship with financial regulators, i.e. the BaFin
- Finance Process Setup: Take the lead in designing and implementing robust finance processes and procedures from scratch, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
- Establish financial controls, systems and reporting mechanisms to achieve effective financial management / decision-making
- BaFin Relationship: Collaborate with our managing directors to navigate the BaFin (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht) requirements for licensing financial institutions
- Prepare necessary documentation ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines
- Strategic Financial Planning: Work closely with founders and managing directors to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with our goals and objectives
- Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling to support strategic decision-making
- Compliance and financial policy: Stay updated on BaFin regulations and ensure adherence to all applicable guidelines and licensing requirements
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, statements and forecasts
- Provide insightful analysis of financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, making recommendations for improvement
