Who you are
- The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in accounts receivable management, demonstrate expert-level proficiency in Excel, and have extensive experience working with common accounts receivable platforms
- 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Leadership/management experience (of at least 2 team members)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience working in a high-growth environment and implementing new procedures
- Exposure to all size customers (SMB to Enterprise)
- Experience with usage-based billing
- Expert-Level Excel and data manipulation skills
- Experience with various procurement systems (Amazon Payee Central, Coupa, Microsoft Invoice, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, team members, and stakeholders
- An enthusiastic and positive leader among colleagues with a proven track record of effectively managing a team, providing guidance, and fostering a positive work environment
- Results-driven and focused on seeing projects come to life

What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AR Manager to join our finance team
- The AR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable processes, managing a team of two individuals, and ensuring the timely and accurate collection of outstanding customer payments
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment application, collections, and reconciliation
- Identify opportunities for streamlining and improving the AR processes, implementing best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Monitor and maintain collections activities, including regular follow-ups with customers to resolve outstanding payment issues, track payment plans, and escalate non-compliance cases when necessary in order to maintain DSO targets
- Ensure cash applications are done correctly and timely
- Collaborate with the finance team, sales team, and other stakeholders to resolve customer billing issues, support financial reporting requirements, and contribute to overall process improvement initiatives
- Maintain billing portals for key Enterprise customers
- Generate regular reports on accounts receivable metrics, aging analysis, cash forecasting, and other relevant KPIs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of AR activities and transactions
- Manage Senior AR Associate and AR Associate
