Who you are

Experience developing non-trivial Android Apps that have been released in the Play Store
Well versed in Kotlin and associated Design Patterns
Solid understanding of Android UI Toolkit best practices, memory management, and experience with constraints and motion layouts, and fragment stack management
Solid understanding of software engineering
Experience with Continuous Integration and distributed version control systems (Git)
Good knowledge of web technologies and paradigms (JSON, Ajax, AMF, HTTP, REST)

Desirable

Professional experience with Jetpack Compose
A knowledge and understanding of concurrent programming
Working understanding of profiling and automation tools

What the job involves

Deliver and maintain new and existing Apps using Kotlin and Android UI Toolkit/Jetpackl
Support your team to meet sprint commitments
Ensure that impediments of any kind are escalated, and long-term solutions pursued
Look to improve the codebase and performance of the applications
Delivery high quality well tested software that meets agreed requirements
Promote best software development practices
Collaborate with other developers, testers, and other teams working on front-end/back-end tasks
