Who you are

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
High EQ, strong understanding of the requirements of fast-moving markets and companies
Experience using data information providers will be beneficial (for e.g. S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, BvD, and other data aggregation programs/ information provider’s databases.)
Experience of working to and achieving targets
Self-motivated
Strong written and oral communication skills; including fundamental presentation skills and the demonstrated ability to articulate ideas clearly and appropriately influence others
Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast paced environment

What the job involves

We are currently searching for a Research Associate to help identify M&A opportunities for our clients
Using our internal tools, databases and external searches to fulfil clients’ expectations in a timely manner
Sorting and organizing data and making them easily accessible for decision-making
Analysing the types of data/information needed to be collected for the successful delivery of projects for our clients
Performing general research on organisations to match and verify companies are relevant to client needs
Analysing the types of data/information needed to be collected to serve better our clients
Working closely with colleagues across London, Toronto, Bangalore, and Singapore on execution of project and deliveries
Participating in client discussions, becoming a subject matter expert on the data and presenting findings and market insights to the client to add colour and context
Transforming, improving, and integrating data depending on the business requirements
Identifying optimisation opportunities across workflows, processes, systems, or content/data issues and proposing solutions to solve and/or improve them
