Who you are
- Proven success selling across multiple departments and industries, ideally with company-wide adoption

What the job involves
- As an Account Executive at nuwo, your mission is to drive revenue and foster customer relationships through proactive sales efforts and exceptional service
- You will play a pivotal role in building the team, identifying new prospects, qualifying leads, closing deals, and nurturing existing customer connections
- Hunting (identify and approach new prospects), Qualifying (match prospects to our target profile), Closing (pitch, negotiate, sign), Farming (nurture relationships, new opportunities)
- Identify new prospects and generate interest for our products or services by approaching potential customers in the market
- Evaluate prospects against our target profile, conducting risk analysis like credit and fraud checks to determine customer viability
- Devote the majority of your time to closing deals. Develop effective closing strategies, deliver persuasive pitches, write compelling commercial proposals, negotiate prices, and successfully close sales
- Nurture relationships with our existing customer base. Provide support, resolve queries, identify up-selling opportunities, and maintain strong customer connections
Our take
With the skyrocketing number of hybrid workplaces, efforts to ensure employees have the right hardware to do their jobs remotely has given way to a refocus on having the right furniture. Back and shoulder pain are common among desk workers, especially among remote team members who often use dining chairs and other furniture not primarily designed for ergonomics. As a result, investing in home office furniture has become a new priority in the remote work revolution.
Nuwo acts as an online marketplace for employers wanting to equip their workers with the right furniture and tools to do their job comfortably and safely from home. Companies lease office furniture from Nuwo to their remote and hybrid employees who can enjoy high-quality office equipment, all tax-deductible from their company. The company also offers legal and safety as a service which includes insurance protection and continuous risk assessment for hybrid workers.
In 2023, the company secured significant funding to support expansion plans and strengthen its position in the growing hybrid work market. However, there has been few public updates since, but Nuwo continues to operate within a niche that remains highly relevant as companies refine their long-term remote and hybrid policies.
