What the job involves

Lead the research to determine the value proposition of our B2B and B2C trading group called Business and Drivers
Craft a compelling go-to-market strategy for selling location APIs and AppyParking+ driver app to target customers, including pricing strategy, marketing channels, and sales tactics
Develop a comprehensive product strategy that prioritises features and ensures the platform meets the evolving needs of the market
Oversee the technical development of the Business and Drivers trading group, including data collection, storage, security, location APIs, and the driver app
Leverage your experience in data and analytics to identify and extract revenue opportunities from the platform's data through various methods like subscriptions, in-app purchases, and data harvesting (while adhering to data privacy regulations)

Our take

Dan Hubert founded AppyWay after a frustrating experience looking for parking whilst trying to attend a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. He originally started AppyParking, an app designed to show drivers where curbside parking was available, to reduce the average four days a year we spend looking for a parking spot.

To provide live parking data, AppyWay had to digitise old plan drawings, manually mapping out parking zones and working with councils. They are now the curators of London’s largest digital parking database. They realised the potential of curbside data and now also offer the most digitally advanced platform of accurate, standardised data, APIs and tools for smart kerbside management in the world.

Kerbs are crucial in creating smart cities with open spaces. AppyWay have partnered with local councils giving them access to essential curb data and allowing them to improve their cities in many ways. Also Appyway has been able to build partnerships that provide wider value to customers. The company has already partnered with Liberty Charge to integrate curbside management and EV charging management to provide charging point availability updates for their users.
