Our take
Electric vehicles (EVs) are continuing to see growing adoption across the logistics and delivery sectors. Given the increasing consumer focus on environmentally friendly consumption, we’re likely to see even more businesses look to adopt the technology. Which creates a strong opportunity for Papaya Dash, which is developing an EV-focused fleet management platform for last mile delivery.
The company’s platform aims to centralise key aspects of fleet operations, from the supply of vehicles to insurance, riders, and maintenance. While many traditional fleet management providers are expanding their EV capabilities, Papaya Dash differentiates itself through its dedicated focus on electric and light-electric delivery fleets.
Last mile delivery is expected to continue growing alongside eCommerce and on-demand services, bringing increased pressure to reduce congestion, emissions, and operating costs in urban areas. So as businesses continue transitioning toward electric delivery vehicles, Papaya Dash is set to benefit from the wider shift toward more sustainable logistics infrastructure.
