Role
Who you are
- Have a minimum of 3-5 years experience as a (growth) marketer
- Can think strategically, but also very hands-on
- Have extensive experience with running Meta Ads campaigns
- Are comfortable taking full (channel) ownership, and preferably have done this before
- Are creative & technically savvy
- Love A/B testing and are very data driven
- Are not afraid to make mistakes
- See exciting marketing possibilities in new technologies and emerging trends
Desirable
- Experience in driving App installs and engagement via paid campaigns
- (Technical) SEO experience
- Experience setting up and managing tracking implementations and dashboarding (e.g. Google Tag Manager, GA4, AppsFlyer, Looker Studio, BigQuery)
- Experience with other paid channels such as Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Display/Remarketing and LinkedIn Ads
- Experience with branding campaigns (e.g. online, videos)
- Startup and/or fintech experience
What the job involves
- Together with our team of marketers, designers and copywriters you will work on growing our customer base at the right price and all KPIs related to growth
- Your main responsibility will be to run and own our (paid) channels
- You will optimise our acquisition journeys and run experiments across the funnel
- You will be working on campaigns, CRO and funnel optimizations
- This means you will be running, optimising and experimenting on our main channels, website, app-stores and onboarding
- You will be the owner of our Meta advertising and therefore responsible for its main KPI’s
- This means you will spend a large part of your time defining and executing a new Meta Ads strategy and improving conversion rates by setting up and analysing A/B tests and running campaigns
- In order to do this, it’s important that you also like to do research on our prospects and active customers, analyse data in order to draft hypotheses to test, and understand attribution
- Next to social advertising you will work on different activities related to acquiring new users
- These activities can vary from optimizing other paid marketing channels to a/b testing the homepage of our website to activities like setting up partnership programs
- It all depends on your preferences and what is on the priority list to reach our main KPI: acquiring new active users
Our take
The retail investor market is growing, thanks to investment apps like Robinhood and E*TRADE democratising access to the markets and empowering non-professionals to make their money work. It’s stimulated the fintech startup scene globally, too, and whilst many are chasing the hands-on retail investors, a niche has opened up for ‘small change’ investment apps for the hands-off customer. Peaks is one of these, allowing users to round up card payments and automatically invest it.
These apps are great for early-stage, short term investors, even though they will tend to work out more costly in the long run. As such, they tend to be directed at young Gen X and the emerging Gen Z markets - and here’s where Peaks has smartly distinguished itself from competitors like Stash and Acorn. Peaks is a values-driven app which only permits investments in sustainable ETFs. This is likely to play well with the younger generations, who expressly seek out brands and companies with the kind of eco-friendly ethos that aligns with their beliefs.
