Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis working with well-known start-ups and scale-ups, experience with tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, Customer.io, and AppFlyer, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s or other advanced degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience as a product analyst or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights and improving product performance
- Experience with Mixpanel, Amplitude, Customer.io, and AppsFlyer or similar tools for funnel management and analytics
- Strong Excel skills and experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Looker
- Familiarity with data science concepts and techniques such as predictive modelling and segmentation
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use data to drive decisions
- Experience working in a global organisation with a diverse team and customer base
What the job involves
- The Protection Platform is our B2B SaaS marketplace for financial advisers and brokers that we believe is the future of distribution. It therefore plays a crucial role in achieving the mission
- We seek an experienced Product Analyst to join our team and help us better understand our product performance and customer behaviour to take our product to the next level
- You will work closely with product managers, product designers, front-end and back-end engineers, SMEs and other stakeholders
- The primary goal of this discovery team is to gather insights and evidence that will inform the protection platform's B2B2C and regional proposition(s)
- The team will focus on different lenses, including insurance, networks, agents, and consumer propositions, to prioritize user needs while ensuring alignment with business objectives
- The team aims to optimize the platform's performance and value to users by incorporating feedback and insights into the development process
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and define key product metrics, create dashboards, and conduct analyses to measure product and feature performances
- Implement and use tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, Customer.io, and AppFlyer to conduct deep dives into customer behaviour, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve product performance
- Work closely with the product team to understand user segments, cohorts, funnels and internationalisation to drive initiatives to improve engagement and retention
- Use advanced Excel skills to conduct ad-hoc analyses and create reports to support business decisions
- Have an interest or ability to collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy predictive models
