Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions engineering, or a similar technical role, ideally within data-driven, environmental, or AI-powered platforms
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear, accessible way for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Expertise in running product demos, setting up PoCs, and configuring software solutions to match client needs
- Excellent organizational skills, with experience in managing schedules, following up with clients, and tracking progress in CRM systems
- Proficiency with internal software tools and a quick learner when it comes to mastering new systems
- A keen listener with the ability to empathize with customer pain points and suggest appropriate solutions
- A proactive problem solver, able to spot opportunities and connect clients with relevant stakeholders to drive further engagement
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and technical teams to ensure smooth collaboration and high-quality client outcomes
- Technical knowledge to assess and review client projects, ensuring the right solution is delivered every time
- Flexibility to travel occasionally and engage clients in person, fostering strong long-term relationships
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written, with exceptional communication skills
- A passion for AI, remote sensing, carbon quantification, and environmental sustainability, with an understanding of how these technologies can drive impact is desirable
What the job involves
- Lead technical aspects of the sales process by conducting product demonstrations, webinars, trial implementations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to showcase Treefera’s platform in alignment with client needs
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, ensuring clear communication between the sales and platform teams to deliver the right product capabilities
- Schedule and attend meetings with clients, follow up on discussions, and track the sales process using our CRM to ensure progress
- Build tailored workflows that integrate Treefera’s platform into clients’ operations, delivering a seamless experience from initial engagement to implementation
- Use internal software tools to configure and deliver products, ensuring customer-specific needs are met
- Navigate the Treefera platform with ease, demonstrating its full range of capabilities and helping clients understand how it fits into their existing workflows
- Listen actively to customers, understanding their pain points and challenges, and identifying how Treefera’s solutions can solve real-world problems
- Work closely with platform and technical teams to provide client feedback, ensuring that customer requests are reflected in the product roadmap and that updates align with evolving client needs
- Identify new opportunities for Treefera’s solutions, even when they are not immediately clear, and facilitate connections between clients and other stakeholders where appropriate
- Maintain a strong presence at industry events, representing Treefera and strengthening relationships with prospects and existing clients
- Provide technical assessments and review client projects to ensure the proposed solutions are the best fit
- Travel occasionally to meet clients in person and deliver tailored technical support as needed
