Who you are
- Demonstrable advertising sales success
- Passion for, and knowledge of the B2B industry verticals across enterprise technology, legal and advisory
- Thought leadership sales experience - selling event or content partnerships with B2B clients
- Multi-platform experience – proven expertise in delivering intricate advertising projects across different channels and platforms
- The candidate must have demonstrable digital (web, social, video) sales experience
- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritise work assignments effectively and meet deadlines
- Aptitude for strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in presenting complex advertising solutions
- Ability to coordinate pitches using inputs from multiple tea
What the job involves
- The role of Account Manager: B2B will manage commercial relationships with clients in the enterprise technology, legal and advisory sectors who are seeking to activate multi-brand advertising partnerships with WIRED and the Condé Nast portfolio more broadly
- The role will have responsibility for selling across WIRED Events and thought leadership programmes with WIRED Consulting as well as broader WIRED platforms and products
- This role sits within the UK Culture sales team. The role works in concert with all of Conde Nast’s owned and operated markets tied to these categories
- Cultivate and facilitate new partnership opportunities leading to revenue growth
- Work across some of our largest existing accounts to drive additional revenue
- Work to understand how to expand UK narratives for the sector through client direct and agency facing meetings
- Representing Condé Nast brands with passion and integrity to the advertising community
- Collaborate with the creative and media functions to develop innovative, effective and strategic advertising plans
- Work closely with the wider US+global teams to assimilate company-wide knowledge, experience and ideas to translate into local business
- Stay abreast of tech and advisory industry trends
- Represent the Condé Nast Britain Culture team at relevant industry events
- Build and maintain strong relationships at the local market level
