Who you are
- We’re looking for a Business Operations Specialist to join our growing team
- You have experience in business operations, ideally within a tech or startup environment
- You're a natural problem solver who is highly organized and can juggle multiple tasks at once
- You have a solid understanding of business development operations, including deal tracking, pipeline management and forecasting
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and you enjoy working across different teams
- You're proactive, take initiative, and thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments
- You're comfortable with a high level of responsibility and are excited about the opportunity to support an executive closely
What the job involves
- This is a dynamic role that combines elements of business development operations, strategic support, and organizational management
- You’ll play a crucial role in helping to streamline business processes, assist with key product launches, and manage internal and external business development (BD) initiatives
- Global OKR Management & Tracking: Oversee and track company-wide objectives and key results (OKRs), ensuring alignment with our long-term vision and strategy
- BD Operations Management: Handle day-to-day business development operations, including pipeline management, deal flow, and forecasting, to ensure the team meets its objectives efficiently
- BD Ops Trainings: Develop and run training sessions for the business development team, empowering them with the tools and processes needed to succeed
- Orchestrate BD Presence: Help orchestrate LayerZero's presence in both internal and external BD activities, coordinating participation in key meetings, events, and collaborations
- Executive Support: Provide executive support to Simon, keeping him organized with scheduling, travel coordination, and other external activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Product Launches: Assist with go-to-market (GTM) strategies and product launches, ensuring alignment with business development efforts and customer engagement

As the crypto ecosystem continues to evolve, the demand for high-throughput apps has been on the rise. However, the infrastructure required to meet this need has been in short supply as users, data, and liquidity have been fragmented across various apps on different chains.
Led by three co-founders that have a substantial history of founding multiple startups together, LayerZero Labs is solving this problem by providing an omnichain interoperability protocol that integrates decentralized applications (dApps).
The unicorn company has an impressive list of backers and tripled its $1B valuation from March 2022 to $3B in April 2023. Its latest funding is being invested in hiring and expansion, particularly across the Asia-Pacific region. Its range of app innovation opportunities that have arisen from its work has LayerZero Labs well set to build on its path of success.
