Role
Who you are
- You have expertise in B2B content creation including excellent writing, editing and research skills.
- You've got a proven track record of crafting commentary and analysis on key issues impacting a complex sector such as energy.
- You've got a base understanding and knowledge in the global and UK energy sector or a deep passion and interest in the space, and are able to turn complexity into simplicity.
- You can produce multi-format content both short and long-form.
- You're all over using AI tools and market intelligence to produce cutting-edge content at speed.
- You thrive in high growth scale-up mode.
Desirable
- Knows how to optimise content that search engines love!
- Experience in delivering educational content including hosting events, roundtables and conferences.
- Demonstrated ability to write effective campaign copy.
- Experienced in delivering podcast content.
What the job involves
- Set content strategy and education for tem.
- Report on global trends and regulatory changes in the energy sector with a strong point of view.
- Research, write and publish high-quality B2B content including websites, blogs, Linkedin, research reports, and customer stories.
- Develop analysis and commentary on energy affairs.
- Manage PR agency and external affairs consultants with guidance from CMO.
- Analyse content performance and optimise as needed.
- Leverage AI and new market tools to enhance our performance.

Our take
Tem is a next-gen energy transactions company that changes the way renewable energy is bought, sold and powered. Rebalancing the playing field away from "Big Energy", tem creates affordable, traceable and smart energy transaction management tools.
The company is still in its early stages, but it looks set to provide businesses and consumers access to the same financial benefits as Big Energy companies by distributing its own purchased energy to customers. Once they’re signed up, customers are matched with a suitable generator, and the tem platform helps execute contracts, take payments, and manage invoicing.
This is a truly disruptive concept - and could prove to be a successful one. Whilst UK consumers are notoriously hesitant to switch providers, recent soaring energy prices could lure many into giving it a go.
tem is going to get a run for it’s money, though. A similar platform in the US, Tesseract, is slated for launch around the same time, and with an ex-Revolut founder and handsome funding under its belt, is generating real buzz.
