Role
Who you are
- Professional experience in online community management for a direct-to-consumer business
- Experience building and managing a team strongly preferred
- Experience detecting and mitigating spam and other online vulnerabilities; Ability to review sensitive content and demonstrate good judgment in resolving issues and representing a brand
- Experience with, and/or interest in, financial markets and various areas of investing
- Experience with B2B partnerships and business development is nice to have, but not required
- Desire to creatively engage and grow an existing organic community
- Well-versed in social media platforms, techniques and methods
- Current Stocktwits user with an appreciation for our community preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to balance numerous projects while meeting tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal skills, particularly in building relationships and working collaboratively both internally and externally
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills (grammar & syntax)
What the job involves
- Lead, coach and support the Community & Growth team for Stocktwits India
- Be a key player in representing Stocktwits India; this is an externally facing role
- Monitor, moderate and manage community sentiment and engagement for Stocktwits India to build a healthy community
- Drive Stocktwits India user acquisition and retention by constantly learning, researching, and experimenting with new community-building ideas and strategies
- Build and oversee a successful influencer program through identifying, onboarding influencers and managing all influencer relationships and activities
- Identify key metrics and report on the success of community growth and engagement initiatives with qualitative and quantitative insights
- Partner closely with the Marketing and Business Development teams on strategic initiatives to achieve growth goals
- Act as a voice of the community by communicating feedback and member problems internally to help identify and build key supporting features/functionality
- Assist with the promotion and execution of in-person and virtual community events including hosting webinars and content as needed with leading influencers
- Perform other duties as assigned

Beyond its current scope, StockTwits presently facilitates conversations related to cryptocurrency and has intentions to broaden its presence in the realms of NFTs, collectables, and international markets. Nevertheless, just as Twitter adopted the concept of cashtags, StockTwits remains concerned that competing platforms like Reddit might introduce features more finely attuned to the demands of the investor community.
