Role
Who you are
- At least 5 years of experience in a data engineering or analytics engineering role
- Expert in SQL and DBT: strong track record of designing conceptual data models, developing comprehensive data tests, and establishing a clear, efficient single source of truth (SSOT)
- A proven track record of developing and managing marketing / sales / GTM analytics the scratch
- Ability to build comprehensive end to end Data products (snowflake, DBT, Sigma)
- Moderate Python experience would be considered an asset
- Highly organized, with an eye for precision and a love for keeping things tidy
- Experience with SaaS and/or startups is highly preferred
- Prior experience in the restaurant industry is a plus!
What the job involves
- As a GTM Analytics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data landscape and driving the strategic use of data across the organization, with a focus on go-to-market solutions.
- You will be instrumental in building SSOT models in DBT & Snowflake, maintaining robust, scalable data pipelines, and enhancing our data infrastructure to support analytics and data-driven decision-making
- Design and implement scalable, efficient Data Products that drives business value within our GTM product. Examples include sales heatmap & overall efficiency; quotas & attainment; revenue attribution; marketing attribution; marketing spend efficiency; Reverse ETL from product to SFDC
- Collaborate with stakeholders and GTM data scientists to understand business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable data outputs through effective data modeling
- Improve time to insight by preparing SSOT data models as a core input for analysis in Sigma, our preferred BI tool
- Optimize data pipeline systems from a variety of sources, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and consistent, Sample tools: hubspot, salesforce, talkdesk, marketing platforms. Make sure our Product / backend systems have a proper linkage with GTM systems
- Improve GTM data quality, sharing data integrity guidelines, highlighting current issues, and collaborating with different stakeholders on implementation of proper fixes
- This role reports to our Director of Data Analytics, Piotr Rosiak
- You will partner with data scientists, business analysts, and key stakeholders from related teams such as Rev-Ops, Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance

The Pandemic caused a major upheaval in the US restaurant industry. Smaller operations struggled to stay afloat amidst brick-and-mortar closures, and as the demand for home delivery soared their margins were tightened further by hefty third-party delivery app charges. Add to that the fact that consumers become customers of the delivery app, not the restaurant itself, and it’s a development that has spelt real trouble for independent locales. Owner has set out to level the playing field.
Owner’s platform provides independent restaurants with the infrastructure they need to take control of their business without deferring to third-party apps like GrubHub and Deliveroo. It offers marketing, online ordering, and support solutions to over 10,000 restaurants across the U.S. The company has taken impressive first strides, too: they have a 7 figure run-rate, over 105% monthly revenue retention, and helped restaurants avoid millions in online order platform fees.
It’s a hugely attractive proposition for independent business owners, and research suggests it’s a winning idea for consumers too. Over 60% say they’d prefer to deal with restaurants directly, but historically the infrastructure simply hasn’t been in place to do so. With Owner seeing impressive traction by tripling its customers between 2023 and 2024, it's unsurprising that its 2025 funding is being channelled into engineering and design teams, alongside the development of new tools.
