Who you are
- Extensive relevant experience working in a Sales Operations role within a B2B sales organization, preferably Enterprise Software, SaaS, or Technology
- Familiarity with Sales technologies (i.e. SFDC, Marketo, Gainsight, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is preferred
- Bachelor degree in Business or other relevant field
- Expert understanding of all operations processes, corporate change management principles, methodologies, and tools. Strong project management experience

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Sales Operations Manager to plan, analyze, document, and deploy changes within our sales process and technology integrations
- As a key member of the Sales Operations team
- You’ll be at the heart of driving operational excellence, streamlining processes, and delivering actionable documentation and training on tools and technology to propel our sales organization forward
- In this role, you will report to the Vice President, Revenue Strategy & Operations and play a key part in shaping the sales technology roadmap
- You’ll provide tactical insights to enhance sales processes, document current workflows, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and elevate the overall sales rep experience
- Your work will directly contribute to streamlining operations and driving performance across the sales team
- In line with Hootsuite's distributed workforce strategy, our flexible work arrangement allows for remote work or a hybrid model
- This role is open to applicants located in Canada and the United States, in provinces and states we can hire legally
- Sales Process Optimization: Evaluate and document existing sales processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Design and implement streamlined workflows that improve sales team productivity. Develop and maintain sales process documentation and training materials
- Technology and Tools Management: Oversee the implementation and optimization of sales tools such as CRM systems. Ensure tools are being utilized effectively by providing training and support to the sales team. Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate systems that enhance sales processes
- Collaboration and Communication: Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment on goals and processes. Provide input to leadership on sales strategies and process improvements. Facilitate regular meetings to review process performance and gather feedback
- Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs to educate sales teams on new processes and tools in partnership with Global Sales Enablement. Provide ongoing support to address challenges and ensure compliance with standardized workflows. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the sales team & technology partners
- Perform other related duties as required

Hootsuite is a leading social media management platform that’s been around since the early days of this now-ballooning online sector. With over 25 million customers, and used by staff at over four fifths of the Fortune 1000, this giant is hugely competitive in the space.
Thought Hootsuite's plans for an IPO didn't survive the tough economic conditions of 2022, it managed to rework its priorities to get back on course. For example, its acquisitions of Sparkcentral and Talkwalker allowed the company to expand into customer service and integrate AI, respectively.
Hootsuite's offering nowadays supplies businesses with a social media performance engine to turn insights into action, all fuelled by artificial intelligence. Unfortunately, the company once again laid off staff during 2025, stating an investment in its future where decisions are made faster and ownership is clear.
