Who you are

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum of 6 years of experience in designing and implementing device sensor and software agent related technologies
Strong foundational knowledge in Linux or Windows OS and networking stack

What the job involves

We are on the lookout for a talented, experienced and hands-on senior technical manager or director to spearhead the development of NDR network sensor, and Windows/Linux server sensor
Lead a team of engineers and developers specializing in network and server sensor technology
Working closely with PM, oversee the development and enhancement of NDR network sensors and Windows/Linux server sensors. Ensure products archive right behavior and are built to high standards
Provide expert knowledge in Linux embedded systems, Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Linux kernel audit, and Windows event collection
Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies related to network and server data collection
Establish rigorous test standard and test automation to ensure the reliability and performance all sensor products
Work closely with other departments, including product management, marketing, and sales, to ensure product alignment with market needs and company objectives
Contribute hands-on engineering expertise to the project, demonstrating leadership in both strategy and execution
Mentor junior team members, fostering an environment of growth and skill development

Cyber attacks and data breaches are on the rise, particularly at enterprise level, leading to a spike in demand for solutions that offer a 360 degree view of the security landscape – something that many security vendors aren’t able to provide, or at least specialize in.

In a bid to unify and optimize all the security tools used by enterprises, Stellar Cyber offers an open Extended Detection and Response (XDR) platform which integrates with existing stacks such as AWS, G Suite, Crowdstrike, and Cisco to automatically detect and nullify risks.

Though founded back in 2015, Stellar Cyber has been on an impressive upward trajectory since rebranding from Aella Data in 2019 and becoming more focused on medium-sized businesses with lean security teams.

The fact that it’s been continually expanding its leadership team and advisory board, receiving a "Baby Black Unicorn Award" placement, and partnering with Amazon Web Services suggests that the company is intent on and is sustaining its rapid growth.
