Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience working on Web apps on the frontend side
- Extensive experience with TypeScript and React
- Knowledge of React frameworks and built tools
- Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with asynchronous request handling
- An eye for good design and attention to detail
- Team player who can manage time independently
- Based in NYC
Desirable
- Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent
- Knowledge of performance and scalability techniques
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices
- Experience with: Progress Web Apps, Google Cloud / Firebase / Firestore, Mobile apps, CI / CD systems
What the job involves
- We’ve been able to craft a best-in-class app for iOS and Mac, and now want to bring Copilot to the web with the same level of user experience. To achieve this, we’re looking for a Senior Web Engineer to join our Web Lead in the development of our new platform, and contribute to the building of an all-star Web team
- This is a hybrid position based in New York City, you’ll be required to come into our office in Brooklyn at least 2 times a week along with the rest of the team. We work from home the rest of the week, but the office is always available in case you want to make use of it more often
- Collaborate closely with the Product and Design teams to define and implement new features and constantly improve the ones we already have
- Maintain and improve the quality and performance of the web app
- Implement unit and UI tests for new features to maintain and improve reliability

With a solid foundation of venture capital, the company is primed to develop new features, including AI-driven insights and Android compatibility, further cementing its position as a leader in the personal finance app market.
