Who you are
- We are looking for a French speaking, Mid-Market Sales Manager to support our growing presence in the French market
- This role will be based full time in our London office
- This is a perfect opportunity if you are someone who has experience managing a high performing sales team and is looking for a fast-paced, pre-IPO unicorn in hyper growth phase
- 2+ year in a sales management position
- Team-player mentality, hard-working, and the ability to be authoritative when necessary
- Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience developing strong internal and external business relationships across departments
- Proven track record of reaching and exceeding goals as an individual contributor
- Demonstrate initiative in helping others achieve their goals
- Knowledge of the full Sales cycle, with demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify, and close deals
- Experience using MEDDPIC (highly desirable)
- Salesforce experience a plus
- Worked with channel partners
- Bilingual in French and English
What the job involves
- Lead, coach, train, and motivate direct reports through pipeline reviews, managing daily and weekly activities, forecasts and closed deals to ensure individual and team quotas
- Work cross-functionally to align prioritisation & resources amongst, sales, product, marketing, engineering, and operations
- Work in a fast-paced environment, pivot as needed and adapt quickly to change, as well as be an influencing factor to the team
- Strategic problem solving, project management, proactively addressing problems and surfacing scalable solutions
- Hire, onboard, develop, and lead a world-class team to support revenue targets for the company

Our take
Before Verkada stepped onto the scene, the evolution of video security was happening primarily in the consumer space. Home-security technology like video doorbells was becoming mainstream, but, ironically, enterprise security was lagging behind. Many large-scale companies were using outdated tech, creating problems for their security operations.
Verkada recognised that commercial security was outdated and backward, and began a mission to get commercial security up to date. The company provides clients with computer-vision cameras, using machine learning to identify security issues. Enterprise security is by no means a new market, but Verkada's success has come from its ability to recognise what large companies need and to provide up-to-date solutions. Its products have seen considerable uptake and major funding saw Verkada secure a multi-billion post-money valuation.
The company has recently introduced new ways to foster connections across teams. This has been done through their new 333 Program. The program aims to help connect teams as well as support local businesses. The company has also recently closed a further Series D funding round to help them continue driving towards their goal "to be the essential physical security software layer for every building".
