Who you are
- 1+ year in an Accounts/Finance Assistant role
- Experience of working with Sage
- Good knowledge of accounting processes
- Excellent Excel skills
- A proactive attitude to provide a high level service to the business
- Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Be self-directed and motivated, with the ability to identify solutions not just problems
- Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team
- Be comfortable working in a face paced environment to meet deadlines

What the job involves
- We're looking for a Finance Assistant who wants to not only contribute with daily, weekly and monthly Finance tasks but also support the finance team with the day-to-day operations of the finance function, ensuring processes are being accurately and efficiently managed
- This is a hands-on role that requires an outgoing individual with excellent time management skills and a can-do attitude
- Management, reporting and analysis of all capital expenditure in the business, including the Business’s APM network
- Working with the accounts payable function, processing payment runs on a weekly basis always ensuring accuracy
- Management of key supplier relationships including responsibility for the on-boarding process
- Receiving, seeking approval, and posting of supplier invoices
- Deal with escalations and complaints regarding supplier invoices and payments
- Support Purchase Invoice Automation project, including and not limited to testing, preparing for rollout, training, issue identification and resolution
- Ensure Bank Postings/Reconciliations are completed within 1 working day
- Support on month end reconciliations and schedules for review
- Assist the team with the month end processes
- Ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting and project assignments as required
- Assist with all other administrative duties and processing documentation, being a proactive and helpful member of the Finance team

InPost has capitalised on its success by completing several important acquisitions and partnerships with the likes of Vinted and Menzies in 2023. As the popularity of contact-free options appears to continue, InPost offers a well-established and feasible option.
