Role
Who you are
- You have experience managing a program in a distributed team environment (3+ years)
- You have experience gathering and communicating technical requirements at varying levels of specificity and complexity
- You have worked in a high-functioning Scrum environment and are versed in working with multiple Product Managers to facilitate delivery across a program of complex technical live services
- You are a pro in Google Suite, Miro, and other cloud-based collaboration tools
- You love working with teams, you value diversity, equity and inclusion
- You tackle challenges with a high degree of pragmatism and diligence
- You are proactive
- 3+ years of experience working in a Technical Program Management or Technical Project Management role
- You have worked in a game studio or at a gaming company in a Program Management Role (Ideal, but not a deal breaker if you haven’t)
- You find creative solutions and pursue them
- You have a natural curiosity with a love of learning
- You have a passion for new technology
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Technical Program Manager who knows that fully supported, robust live services are the key to success for games today
- You will work with an experienced team that has collectively built and worked on games and backend services for more than two decades, and build out a program that contains capabilities that impact some of EA’s biggest titles
- You’ll be working closely with our Leadership Team to build out the program for our collection of interoperable frameworks, and ensuring our partners needs are met through a variety of program management approaches
- Build out a cohesive program for our larger org product initiative, taking into account internal and external timelines and dependencies in conjunction with our PMO and their individual product pods
- Build and maintain a complete holistic program plan with reporting against deliverables and appropriate communications in partnership with our Director of Operations
- Work with Pod Leadership on each of our product pods to communicate requirements and facilitate updates as partner team’s schedules and requirements shift
- Collaborate with our Product Managers to ensure alignment with their individual roadmaps, and alignment with our larger org roadmap
- Partner with our overall product Technical Director to help build program documentation
- Track, and evaluate risks, proactively mitigating risks for assigned scope across the different product pods within our org, and at a program level
- Ability to understand technical needs at a high level, and dig in where appropriate to provide our org with the necessary requirements; you don’t need to be an expert, but we expect that you can talk technical requirements with our partners and internally

In the upcoming years, the company plans to focus on games-as-a-service, as it embraces the evolution of the gaming world.
