- You have 4+ years of experience in consumer marketing, brand management, or a creative agency environment
- You have hands-on experience planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns across social, digital, influencer, and experiential channels
- You are fluent in French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both
- You know how to translate global strategy into locally resonant storytelling
- You are comfortable working with performance data and turning insights into clear marketing recommendations
- You understand French cultural codes and stay current with trends shaping Gen Z and digital communities
- You are highly organized and able to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- You have experience working in entertainment, media, music, podcast, or tech
- You have managed brand social channels and understand how algorithms influence reach and engagement
- You have experience working with influencers or creator marketing programs
- You have experience presenting to senior stakeholders
- You are proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets)
What the job involves
- We are looking for an Associate Marketing Manager to join the Spotify’s Marketing team based in Paris
- In this role you will be part of the Consumer Marketing team in the Western Europe region (Belgium, France Luxembourg)
- The Associate Marketing Manager in France will be responsible for developing and implementing Spotify’s consumer marketing strategy in the region, from planning & execution to reporting
- The role will report into the Marketing Lead for Western Europe region
- You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the Global Marketing Team, Music, PR, Growth and Podcasts, to craft compelling 360 campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences and align with our brand vision and KPIs
- Implement our global and regional plans leveraging cultural trends and listening behaviors
- Develop and execute integrated 360° marketing campaigns across digital, social, influencer, and experiential touchpoints
- Manage Spotify’s French social media presence — from editorial planning and approvals to publishing and performance tracking
- Support influencer strategy and creator partnerships from concept through reporting, ensuring strong brand alignment and cultural relevance
- Create compelling campaign decks and go-to-market presentations for internal stakeholders
- Lead campaign retrospectives, partnering with analytics and insights teams to turn performance data into clear learnings and future action plans
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Marketing, Music, PR, Growth, and Podcast teams to ensure consistent brand storytelling
- Coordinate day-to-day relationships with creative and media agencies, ensuring quality, timelines, and brand excellence
- Stay ahead of internet culture, emerging platforms, and Gen Z behaviors to keep Spotify culturally sharp in France

With features that include a highly accessible interface and a vast catalogue of artists, Spotify's strong brand has been able to maintain growth in spite of fierce competition from deep-pocketed rivals like Amazon and Apple. The company has achieved this by making smart acquisitions to move into other verticals to strengthen its offerings, especially podcasting, by acquiring Gimlet Media, Anchor and Parcast.
Spotify's future plans include rapid growth with a goal to become a one-stop destination for all digital sound, as well as AI and NFT integrations. However, high costs incurred from the acquisition of exclusive podcasts, increasing competitor strength, and weak bottom-line growth mean that the company must find a balance to maintain its position in the sector.
