Who you are

  • Hover is looking for an account executive who is passionate about improving lives through technology and thrives in a fast-growing technology company
  • This role will require creativity, grit, and cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Support teams
  • It will also require a high-velocity sales motion and be responsible for managing a large pipeline of opportunities
  • 3+ years of experience in a quota-carrying role, preferably within a high-growth environment with a track record of over-achieving targets
  • True outbound experience; hunting for your own leads to build a strong book of business
  • Experience in high-velocity sales environments
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including business owners (both verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience utilizing tools such as Salesforce or other sales engagement tools to track and maintain business leads and future deals
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills working with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to build strong relationships from cold outreach to closed deals

  • As an Outbound Account Executive at Hover, you'll play a crucial role in our growth, showcasing Hover to construction contractors eager to scale their businesses from $1 million to $10 million and beyond
  • We're looking for a driven individual who thrives on chasing deals, loves the thrill of the close, and is ready to turn their ambition into unlimited success
  • Develop rapport and build trust with contractors to secure more deals
  • Navigate customer objections by selling the value of using Hover in their workflow
  • Meet and exceed both monthly and quarterly goals by managing a large pipeline of largely outbound leads through all stages of the sales cycle
  • Exceptional documentation from your daily sales demos
  • Proactively develop outreach techniques and build targeted templates for different customer personas
  • Exhibit a growth mindset amongst your direct team as well as your cross-functional partners that contribute to our fast-paced startup environment

Our take

Hover sets out to disrupt the exterior home improvement industry with a platform that enables homeowners to turn basic photos of their property into full 3D models. The platform uses up to eight ground-level photographs of the property, which are patched together into a three-dimensional image.

This image, which is layered with information on materials and dimensions of the structure, can then be used by insurance companies to assess and price damage, without the need to dispatch an inspector.

Hover has had over one million app downloads and following series D financing in 2020, the company has invested in enhancing its 3D data platform whilst expanding its eCommerce efforts. In 2022, Hover was named one of CB Insights Top 50 innovative Insurtech companies 2022.
