Who you are
- French or German speaker (having both is a significant advantage)
- Located in France or Germany
- Good English
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years hands-on experience working with Kubernetes
- CKAD and/or CKA certification(s) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in cloud computing, focusing on major platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical acumen. It would help you navigate complex technical environments and develop solutions that align with client needs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You must be able to articulate technical concepts clearly and understandably to various audiences, including those who may need a technical background
What the job involves
- Technical Leadership: The technical account manager is the technical leader and trusted advisor for their assigned customers, ensuring that their needs are met and that they achieve maximum value from our solutions
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to address client issues, drive adoption, and foster long-term customer relationships
- This role is based in either France or Germany, supporting strategic clients in these regions
- Technical Customer Onboarding: You will lead the technical onboarding process for new customers, ensuring that all their clusters are connected to CAST AI in 90 days
- This is a technical role; you will work closely with DevOps engineers and SREs
- We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background who can easily convey complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
- You will have some level of project management skill to enable you to drive onboarding progress
- Renewals: You will work with our Client Partners to drive the renewal process with customers
- We believe that a successful renewal is a natural outcome of delivering continuous proactive value through regular engagement with clients
- Business Reviews: You and our Client Partners are responsible for continuously showcasing the value of CAST AI through monthly and quarterly business reviews
- You will lead these discussions (remote and in-person) and highlight cost savings, automation, upcoming innovation and new products
- Technical Development: We take great pride in continuously improving our technical skills
- All technical account managers at CAST AI are either CKAD/CKA holders
- If you do not have a CKAD certification, we will support you in attaining this goal in the first 6 months
Our take
Managing cloud deployments effectively to control costs has become a priority for organizations of all sizes. CAST AI drives cloud optimization and cost reduction by using AI and machine learning to analyze a company’s cloud environment to identify the resources required for maximum performance.
CAST AI’s platform supports all three major cloud service providers; Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Amazon Web Services. When cloud providers have unused machines they are typically discounted by 60-70%, however, if AWS (for example) needs that machine back, they give little warning before reclaiming it. CAST AI is able to automatically detect this, and immediately replace it, meaning companies using its platform will never experience an outage of discounted machines.
As more enterprises embrace cloud technologies, CAST AI is a strong choice of provider as it provides customers with a unified, automated platform, making Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) more efficient and budget-friendly. The company has seen considerable investment that will be spent on attracting new customers, as well as helping to expand the CAST AI range of products.
