Who you are
- Currently enrolled in a BS program in computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or a related technical field of study
- Experience in the development of robotic systems through either prior internship experience or classwork
- Good communication abilities to interact with a remote team at the test site
- Capable of modeling and designing closed-loop controllers

- Waymo's Systems Engineering team works together to blend software and hardware systems in groundbreaking new ways
- We set the high performance standards that ensure our vehicles run smoothly and keep passengers safe, then design and perform the tests that validate that performance
- We're looking for talented teammates who’ll help us maintain strong teamwork and are passionate about driving results
- Develop a user interface providing distributed measurements of the fog along the tunnel at one of Waymo’s test sites
- Develop a system capable of independently controlling fog for each subsection
- Procure, install, test and document the system
