Who you are
- 7+ years of proven experience in customer marketing, customer advocacy, or a related role, preferably in B2B tech, B2B marketing, B2B SaaS sales cycles, and Customer Marketing best practices
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret marketing metrics
- Have a track record of driving pipeline through storytelling
- Proactive mindset with an excitement to tackle priorities. The ability to think and act strategically while executing tactically
- Strong program management and organizational skills, and the ability to structure and prioritize work in a manner that best fits the team and company needs
- A love for storytelling where you can tell compelling narratives to customers and sales to inspire them to engage with Saviynt
- Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, Asana, Highspot, Gainsight and advocacy platforms, such as Base AI.Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.A BA or BS degree
What the job involves
- Saviynt is seeking a Senior Customer Marketing Manager to build and execute advocacy programs that bring our customer experiences and thought leadership to life
- This individual contributor role will strengthen relationships across our customer base and provide top tier experiences that deepen engagement, drive adoption, and turn customers into advocates for Saviynt’s AI-powered identity security platform
- You’ll play a key role in shaping how we connect with customers and share their stories as they modernize identity programs and embrace AI-powered security innovation
- Your work will help customers and prospects realize the full value of Saviynt — and showcase their success as part of our growing community of identity leaders
- The ideal candidate will be a strong advocate for the customer while strengthening our customer-centric culture to deliver a consistent experience as we grow
- Creatively bring our customer stories to life and amplify them through powerful, high-quality assets including case studies, success videos, one-sheets, slides, blog posts, and more
- Enable the organization on how to tell customer stories and integrate them into various marketing campaigns, sales materials, and product launches
- Manage our customer speaker bureau for virtual and in-person programs, ranging from C-level to practitioner thought leaders, supporting them to curate the right message for industry events
- Proactively recruit, add and manage advocates in the ChangeMakers advocacy program
- Manage our Sales Reference program through Base AI, partnering with Sales, Customer Success and our customers to show prospects the value we bring
- Manage our peer review presence on TrustRadius, G2, PeerSpot improving ratings and increasing reviews
- Build strong relationships with our global Customer Success, Sales, Sales Enablement, Marketing, Analyst Relations, and Communications teams to identify, promote and nurture our strong customer advocates
- Work to engage our customers and build industry-leading community event experiences
- Secure quotes, logos, and other materials with customer advocates for events, launches, press materials, media opportunities, and analyst reports. Establish a system for measuring and tracking advocacy engagement and impact
- If required for this role, you will:
- Complete security & privacy literacy and awareness training during onboarding and annually thereafter
- Review (initially and annually thereafter), understand, and adhere to Information Security/Privacy Policies and Procedures such as (but not limited to):
- Data Classification, Retention & Handling Policy
- Incident Response Policy/Procedures
- Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Policy/Procedures
- Mobile Device Policy
- Account Management Policy
- Access Control Policy
- Personnel Security Policy
- Privacy Policy
Our take
Sayvint’s Identity Governance and Administration platform helps secure access to corporate systems in the cloud such as Workday, Office 365, AWS, Salesforce, SAP and Hadoop. It was created to offer an innovative, modern solution as its founder believed that existing identity services were not optimized.
By spending its early years in stealth mode, developing its product technology and switching to a cloud based model, the company was well prepared for a quick up-scale. This has been achieved partly because of the fact that it favours targeting large companies, boasting clients like Marriott, BP, KuppingerCole and Toyota Connected.
Sayvint faces a major rival in the form of SailPoint, which was an earlier entrant in the space, and went public sooner. However, Sayvint is growing rapidly and has converted some notable customers from SailPoint in the process. The company has continually invested in its platform to maintain a competitive edge, earning industry recognition along the way, and has recently concentrated on securing new customers and growing its partner ecosystem.
