Who you are
- Passionate about food, restaurants and all things brand, with a natural inclination to stay at the forefront of trends
- Digital native, love social media platforms
- Smart generalist who loves building marketing initiatives and rolling up your sleeves to get them live—fast

- A passion for continuous learning, experimentation, and staying ahead of digital marketing and growth trends
- A few years of experience in a commercial role, ideally for a fast growing B2C series A startup, an exciting restaurant, food or consumer brand. Brand marketing is a plus
- Smart marketing generalist, excited to get stuck in with a wide ranging set of initiatives: storytelling, copywriting, content creation, and digital tools, including social media, video editing tools, and CRMs
- Ability to ideate and execute in ambiguous environments, testing campaigns to find the ones that deliver tangible results
- The ability to generate high quality video content is a big plus
What the job involves
- We’re now looking for a Marketing Manager to take our marketing efforts to the next level
- This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of brand, growth, and performance, driving sales for our partner restaurant brands across the UK whilst also building Growth Kitchen into a household name in the food sector
- If you are creative, a strategic thinker, love getting stuck into execution, and are excited by the challenge of building multiple brands at once, we’d love to hear from you
- Own and execute brand marketing strategies and campaigns for key restaurant partners like The Athenian and Coqfighter to drive sales across our kitchen network
- Develop and test a wide range of online and offline marketing tactics, both UK wide and location-specific - from social media campaigns to flyer drops - with the aim of attracting new and returning customers
- Create content and manage our social media
- Work with founders on broader PR and marketing activities

Our take
Growth Kitchen is capitalising on the ever-growing appetite for convenient food amongst the increasingly prominent young, urban and professional classes. The startup is hoping to revolutionise food brand scaling in the same way 10-minute delivery apps have revolutionised grocery, on a mission to make ordering food a personalised commodity rather than a treat.
The company’s key value offering is its smart satellite kitchen network. Restaurants that have high-volume delivery can use Growth Kitchen’s proprietary data to identify the areas where expansion would make sense, and then leverage the startup’s physical network of kitchens to outsource recipes to those locations.
The company is at an early stage, so scaling effectively is key. The plan is to have 100s of sites across the UK and Europe by integrating well-known restaurant brands into pre-existing kitchen operators, such as the Hilton Hotel.
While Growth Kitchen’s vision has won plaudits from experts in the space, like Gorillas and Deliveroo executives, rolling out the business is going to be a lot more challenging. Any drop in quality standards would burn its reputation amongst the restaurants it will be representing to end customers.
