Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of relevant experience, including financial, analytical and/or other related business field; investment banking, consulting, healthcare, and/or SaaS experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or business required
- Expert modeling and Excel skills are an absolute must-have
- Familiarity with GAAP accounting required; CFA or CPA a plus
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs
- Data savvy with a strong attention to detail and accuracy; SQL skills and experience working with large datasets a plus
- Focused and proactive quick thinker, with the ability to work creatively and independently
- Ability to partner cross-functionally, influence, and communicate with all levels of management
- Proactive, thoughtful, & highly organized; able to work under tight deadlines while maintaining impeccable attention to detail
What the job involves
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including providing variance analysis and commentary
- Support the annual planning and budgeting process and subsequent forecast updates
- Maintain long-range financial model to assist with business strategic planning and long-term goals
- Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to gather planning inputs, track performance, and drive expense management
- Monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
- Assist with preparation of board and investor materials
- Lead ad hoc financial projects, such as profitability, ROI, and buy vs. build analysis; summarize findings and provide recommendations
- Must be comfortable working 8-5 CST hours
