Who you are
- Previous internships in marketing or communications (3-6 months) and an ongoing master’s degree
- Previous experience with social media management and digital marketing preferred
- Comfortable with Google Suite (Google Slides)
- Native-level German and very good level of English
- The ability to execute multiple projects at the same time autonomously and be hands-on supporting the team to deliver success together
- Analytical mindset, conceptual strength, and initiative
- An internship agreement between Ankorstore and your university
What the job involves
- In this paid internship, you will join the International Markets Team and report directly to the International Marketing Lead
- You will develop and execute highly impactful customer-centric marketing actions to increase our brand awareness in Germany (70% of the time) and other key European countries (the UK, Benelux, Spain, and Italy)
- This six-month internship is based in Barcelona or Paris for a January 2024 start
- Implement commercial and non-commercial events across all of our marketing touchpoints, coordinating with central marketing team, product team, regional sales managers and design team
- Define our social media international accounts editorial calendar (Instagram, Facebook), overlook the creation of the content with the design team, analyse performance and recommend optimisation, ensure community management
- Contribute to blog editorial calendar, participate in interviews of our brands and retailers to feed content, analyse blog performance and recommend optimisation

These include having all brands paid at reception, 60-day payment for retailers, and free delivery offered. Its website carefully selects exceptional products all across Europe, and a minimum checkout of £300 to allow retailers to gain flexibility and turn over its stock regularly.
Offering great products in every sector from Kids and Home & Living to Grocery, Beauty, and Fashion, Ankorstore is enabling brands - including Jane Eymar, SpiceNerds, and Jeux d'Enfants - to maximise their sell-through and turn over their inventories regularly. With this approach and unicorn status achieved in 2022, Ankorstore is helping independent retailers and brands all across Europe.
