Who you are
- Fluency in German and English is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with decision-makers
- Self-motivated, driven, and ambitious, with a strong desire to deliver results and exceed expectations
- Business acumen, with the ability to discern the business value of different use cases and articulate this value to meet customer needs effectively
- Ability to quickly grasp the nuances of a technical product and complex business processes relevant to our target market
- At least 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the mid-market & enterprise B2B SaaS space
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation and sales targets
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
What the job involves
- As a Partnership Manager, you'll drive our growth strategy through strategic alliances across the DACH region
- Your primary objective will be expanding our market presence by cultivating relationships with key partners, especially ERP system providers and their implementation partners
- You'll generate new business opportunities, manage existing relationships, and identify collaborations to enhance our ecosystem coverage
- Working with cross-functional teams, you'll refine our partnership strategy and create mutually beneficial arrangements that drive top-line growth
- Become a trusted expert in our solution thus generating pipeline and driving top-line growth through partnerships
- Manage relationships with existing partners (ERP system providers and implementation partners)
- Acquire new partners to expand ecosystem coverage and geographical markets
- Develop partnerships strategy and identify growth accelerators
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams on messaging and partner positioning for DACH
- Attend industry events and webinars for networking and solution promotion
- Manage partnership data and referral activities in CRM system
- Analyze GTM data to identify partnership growth levers

- Onsite Workshop: You will be asked to do a mock sales call, leveraging what you know about Procuros to perform effective discovery and explain the value prop
- Meet the team: The final step in the interview process includes meeting your team members
Our take
B2B transaction (payments, information sharing, and collaboration between different companies) has been late to digitise, with many businesses still using legacy technology from decades ago to trade with one another. This has meant that supply chains can be fraught with long waiting times and archaic processes. Procuros is a software platform aiming to modernise the processes between companies.
Whilst the automation industry is a daunting marketplace for newcomers, Procuros claims to stand out because their software connects with all ERP software, regardless of its compatibility with other trade partners and businesses. Procuros also aims to innovate the market by automating not only transactions but data entry and communication processes too.
Procuros’s USP seems to be paying off. It was awarded $9 million in seed funding in March 2022. At present, Procuros’s clients include medium-sized food retailers and mechanical engineering companies, both markets that rely on B2B transactions and supply chain management. There is much scope for Procuros to expand its clients to other industries too.
