Who you are
- BS/MS in Math, Computer Science, or similar, quantitative discipline
- Excellent Programming skills in Python, SQL
- 5+ years of enterprise development and a desire to work on a fast-paced development team with the experience of handling multiple tracks concurrently
- Knowledge of Cloud computing concepts (AWS) and working experience with deploying and managing applications in the Cloud
- Deep understanding of distributed computing principles. Working experience with big data tools: Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Hive, Impala and Snowflake
- Hands-on experience in developing and evaluating machine learning models on large scale datasets
- Familiar with developing pipeline workflow tools: Luigi, Airflow, etc
- Proven experience performing data analysis on both structured and unstructured data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Professional knowledge with statistical models, predictive models and time series analysis
- Good understanding of Equity, Fixed Income and Mutual Fund. Commitment to work towards completing the CFA designation is preferred
- Strong communications skills
What the job involves
- In this role, candidate will be part of the squad that will be working on growing FI Investment sales and platform business
- Candidate will work on generating opportunity leads, product recommendation, setting strategy of coverage, engagement optimization, business optimization and experimentation
- The goal of the squad & the candidate is to research, develop and implement quantitative, ML methodologies to achieve business objective
- Use a rigorous scientific method to develop and shape our insights to further and grow the FI business
- Apply machine learning to a vast array of datasets
