Role
Who you are
- Know various network and security protocols, operating systems, and database platforms
- Understand different cybersecurity technologies and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-virus software, and SIEM systems
- Are able to analyze complex data and computer systems to find potential threats or weaknesses
- Can manage cybersecurity incidents effectively (this can include skills in digital forensics and understanding common attack techniques)
- Know the risk assessment methodologies and are able to apply them to the technology environment
- Understand how to develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures
- Are able to think critically and solve complex issues, often under pressure
- Possess certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ that can demonstrate your knowledge and expertise in this field
- Are fluent in English
What the job involves
- As a Senior Information Security Analyst, you play a pivotal role in protecting our organization's systems and ensuring their smooth operation
- Continuously monitor our networks and systems for any security breaches or intrusions
- Spearhead incident response when a security breach occurs, taking the lead in resolving the issue and participating in forensic analyses to understand incidents better
- Regularly evaluate our organization's security posture, performing risk assessments and threat modeling to identify areas of weakness
- Assist in developing and maintaining our organization's security policies and procedures while ensuring they are in line with the latest industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Foster a culture of security awareness by educating other employees about the importance of information security, including conducting training sessions or seminars
- Evaluate third-party service providers for security concerns and ensure any technology acquired by the organization meets our security standards

Marketplaces for holiday rentals exist, but existing examples are often uninspiring, riddled with sponsored accommodation, and subject to expensive rental fees.
HomeToGo provides an online marketplace for vacation rentals, focusing on providing a personalized user experience to help users find accommodation that suits their individual preferences. As opposed to charging customers fees, the company makes money by charging an affiliate commission when successfully matching a customer with a property owner.
Whilst vacation rental marketplace giants such as Airbnb and Booking.com present significant competition, HomeToGo’s fee-free approach allows it to stand out to customers in the market. Their commission-based business model is also aided by its unique focus on providing vacation destination inspiration, collecting users' personal preferences, and matching them with the perfect accommodation. +++ The Berlin travel company HomeToGo is taking over the majority of KMW Reisen, known for kurz-mal-weg.de , and Super Urlaub (including kurzurlaub.de ). "Through the transaction, HomeToGo will hold a 51% majority stake in the combined company. The themed short break and hotel offers of Kurz Mal Weg and Kurzurlaub are particularly popular in the low season. This complements HomeToGo's existing strong demand in the high season and opens up up- and cross-selling opportunities all year round," says a press release.
