Who you are
- This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated individual who is passionate about content creation, social media, and AI
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in graphic design, film & photography, communication design, media technology, or a related field
- You are experienced with common design and production tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, AfterEffects, Canva, Figma, etc
- You are highly engaged with social media and have a strong passion for content production (photos, videos, etc.)
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- You work in a structured and independent manner, eager to tackle new challenges
- You are enthusiastic about AI, tech, and topics such as digitalization, innovation, and entrepreneurship
- You are comfortable with project management tools like Notion
- You have solid knowledge of content creation, graphic design, social media, and video production
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit, and like to take ownership of projects
What the job involves
- As a Startup Marketing & Content Intern, you’ll play a crucial part in supporting our marketing team with creating engaging media content and optimizing our digital presence
- Supporting our marketing team in creating media content and posts that entertain, inform, and provide value
- Collaborating on the multimedia preparation for event promotions, and creating post-event materials (like posters, event descriptions, social media posts, photos, video recordings, and snippets.)
- Conducting data analyses and generating insights to monitor and optimize content performance, while establishing KPIs for content strategies
- Working on diverse content projects, including the planning, producing, and recording video sequences and interview setups for social media platforms
- Managing and creating insightful media content (text, images, and possibly video) to keep our community engaged
- Assisting with longer written pieces of content related to AI, innovation, and entrepreneurship
- Actively contributing your own ideas to enhance our social media presence and branding efforts
- Working closely with the marketing team to execute branding and marketing strategies

After a robust, highly selective vetting process, Merantix identifies founders and collaborates to provide support and funding to scale their businesses. The company integrates all areas of AI, building a complete talent pipeline and fund for venture scaling. Successful examples include Vara, SiaSearch, and Cambrium.
Merantix differentiates itself from typical venture capital firms through its approach. While most VCs invest in established businesses, spreading funds across many companies and taking losses while focusing on winners, Merantix tries to pick winners at the earliest stage.
The launch of an AI Campus in 2021 significantly increased the company's ecosystem, allowing it to explore new fields. Through strategic partnerships with SoftBank and the AI City project in Dubai, Merantix is growing. It has incubated ten successful startups so far and aims to produce even more in the coming years. Merantix is raising a new €100 million fund to co-invest in startups, marking its largest fund yet. This fund will be allocated to co-investing in external startups, investing in incubated startups, and supporting existing investments.
