Role
Who you are
- 5+ years in performance marketing, with deep expertise in Paid Search and SEO within a DTC or eCommerce environment
- Strong command of Google Search and Shopping, with a clear understanding of performance at scale
- Proven ownership of multi-million dollar paid search budgets, with a consistent focus on business outcomes
- Comfort with advanced measurement approaches, including multi-touch attribution and media mix modeling
- A strategic mindset paired with strong execution—you’re comfortable zooming out and diving in
- Intellectual curiosity and a continuous focus on improving how things work
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach, with strong ownership and follow-through
- Clear, confident communication skills, with the ability to synthesize insights and engage senior stakeholders
- Executive presence and sound judgment in how you communicate and operate
- 1+ year of people leadership experience, with a thoughtful approach to supporting and developing others
- Agency background supporting DTC or eCommerce brands is a plus

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Growth Marketing (Search) to lead one of our most impactful growth channels, shaping how customers find and engage with Brooklinen across paid and organic search
- This is a high-impact role, with meaningful ownership over performance and a direct line to how we drive efficient, scalable growth
- Reporting to our Director of Growth Marketing, you’ll own our search ecosystem end-to-end—leading strategy and execution across Paid Search and SEO and ensuring Search programming has a meaningful business impact
- You’ll also bring a clear, trusted voice to how performance is understood across the business. You’ll manage and develop one direct report, setting a strong example through how you operate and supporting clear ownership and execution across the channel
- Search Strategy & Channel Ownership:
- Lead Paid Search and SEO/GEO as core drivers of customer growth
- Own the end-to-end strategy across Google and Microsoft Search, Shopping, and evolving discovery surfaces, including AI-driven and LLM-powered search experiences
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, and overall contribution to the business
- Execution & Optimization:
- Oversee campaign structure and performance across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including Search, Shopping, and Performance Max
- Guide keyword strategy, bidding, audience segmentation, and creative testing
- Lead SEO across on-page and content initiatives, and partner closely with eCommerce, Product, and Engineering to identify and advance technical SEO opportunities
- Measurement & Performance Insight:
- Partner with Analytics to evolve our measurement approach, utilizing multi-touch attribution and media mix modeling to assess and optimize program performance
- Translate performance data into clear, actionable insights
- Build a clear, consistent narrative around channel performance and opportunity
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor one direct report, setting a high bar for ownership and execution
- Serve as a strong model for the team—bringing curiosity, rigor, and follow-through
- Create clarity around priorities and ensure work moves forward with focus
- Cross-Functional Partnership & Communication:
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Creative, and Merchandising to ensure search is integrated into broader initiatives
- Communicate clearly and confidently with senior leadership, distilling complex performance into what matters most
- Build trust through consistent, thoughtful updates and proactive surfacing of insights
- What Success Looks Like:
- Search continues to improve in efficiency and scale, delivering stronger contribution to growth over time
- Measurement becomes more mature and actionable, improving investment decisions
- Performance insights are proactively surfaced and clearly understood across teams
- Cross-functional partners view Search as a trusted, thoughtful partner
- The team operates with strong ownership, clarity, and a high standard for execution

In a crowded market for home essentials, Brooklinen has proven to be hugely profitable. Its strategy of focusing on a vertically integrated supply chain has paid off with significant revenue. By creating lightweight and durable sheets designed to soften after each wash cycle, Brooklinen provides an attractive option for those wanting luxury sheets without the hefty price tag.
From the funding it has received, Brooklinen has been able to invest in its product range, such as through its expansion to loungewear to offer more options for customers. Further, the opening of physical stores in highly profitable locations has been a smart move by the company and its strategic wholesale scaling has opened up new B2B revenue.
