Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3-5 years of FP&A experience, with experience in investment banking or management consulting preferred
- Experience with financial and strategic planning
- Excellent financial modeling skills with the ability to synthesize complex operational and financial structures into structured frameworks and models
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Extreme attention to detail with an innate drive to solve problems creatively
- Highly motivated self-starter attitude with a desire to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Start-up and high-growth company experience is a plus but not required
What the job involves
- Own the consolidated financial forecast model, continuously improving it to meet the needs of the senior leadership team and as business lines launch and evolve
- Gather, consolidate, and analyze operating and financial results including preparing internal and external reporting deliverables, analyzing trends, drivers, and forecast vs. actual variances, painting a complete and coherent picture of the underlying drivers of financial performance
- Find ways to continuously incorporate and use data to drive the financial forecast
- Establish strong relationships with leadership team members to help them understand and quantify their departments’ resource needs (people, technology, etc) and how they are performing against established targets
- Provide insights and thought leadership as a key partner in driving the business forward
- Develop a strong understanding of our customer base and their operations to help provide proper context to forecasts, strategies, and decision making
- Support executive team in the preparation of presentations for internal and external stakeholders including the board of directors and investors

Cannabis is the most widely produced and consumed drug in the world, but until relatively recently this market remained underground. An increasing number of US states, however, are opting to legalize cannabis, opening up a highly lucrative market opportunity that businesses are looking to capitalize on.
LeafLink has cemented its position as one of the major supply chain players in the growing legal cannabis market, connecting suppliers with retailers through its wholesale eCommerce marketplace. Currently, it commands over half of the US cannabis market, as well as having strong VC backing, and surpassing the $1B transaction threshold.
Since 2016, it has helped over 12,000 companies build relationships., process payments, and ship products to retail and it isn't slowing down any time soon. Recently the company acquired Leaf Trade and Dama Financial, putting it in an even greater leadership position within the cannabis industry. Now the company looks set for an even greater future.
