What the job involves
- As our Emerging Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll join the Ankorstore People team on a mission to recruit the brightest early careers talent - from interns and apprentices to entry-level roles - to fuel our pipeline of future leaders rewilding the world of retail
- Reporting to the VP People and mentored by our Senior Talent Acquisition Partners, your main missions will be:
- You own the full-cycle recruitment process from an engaging sourcing strategy to getting talent on board and working closely with Ankorstore leaders to build the team
- Proactively headhunting and sourcing is your passion! You consider nurturing strategies and build a strong talent pool that meets Ankorstore's current and future hiring needs
- You build deep market knowledge and share trends and talents with your stakeholders to shape the future team design and growth
- You are innovative and strive to find new ways to connect, recruit, and engage with people, to create a best-in-class recruitment experience
- You partner with People Partners and the global People teams to create programs and solutions to build a long-term pipeline of talent for the future
- You shape our intern and apprentice programs across Europe, and proactively manage and engage early career cohorts
- You build strong partnerships with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions to engage with and recruit emerging talent
- You act as an ambassador for Ankorstore, representing our values and culture to candidates at all stages of the hiring process
- You enjoy project and team work, building solutions collaboratively with the rest of the People team to attract the best talent to Ankorstore
Our take
Ankorstore was founded on the belief that independent retailers are fundamental to the soul and identity of local towns and cities. It helps them flourish by providing retailers with great purchasing conditions and tools.
Ankorstore is attempting to build the largest European marketplace to connect authentic brands with thousands of independent retailers. It inspires retailers with a large and distinctive range of products, as well as helping them to work with brands under unique conditions.
These include having all brands paid at reception, 60-day payment for retailers, and free delivery offered. Its website carefully selects exceptional products all across Europe, and a minimum checkout of £300 to allow retailers to gain flexibility and turn over its stock regularly.
Offering great products in every sector from Kids and Home & Living to Grocery, Beauty, and Fashion, Ankorstore is enabling brands - including Jane Eymar, SpiceNerds, and Jeux d'Enfants - to maximise their sell-through and turn over their inventories regularly. With this approach and unicorn status achieved in 2022, Ankorstore is helping independent retailers and brands all across Europe.
