Role
Who you are
- You will have the ability to influence and communicate effectively cross functionally and take a proactive and solutions based approach which embraces change
- Excellent organisation and follow up skills are key to being successful in this role, along with strong interpersonal and written communication ability
- You will feel comfortable to guide and coach through new processes and procedures with confidence
What the job involves
- You will help to define and own the internal training programme both for new starters and current employees
- As a key member of the People team, reporting to the VP People, you will work closely with leaders across the organisation to design and deliver effective training modules to upskill and ensure relevant knowledge is maintained as well as create innovative blended learning solutions that engage and inspire employees
- A key part of the role will be to ensure we are compliant with our training and competence regulatory obligations, particularly in relation to the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR)
- Work with the VP People to ensure that the training programme is aligned with Habito’s strategy
- Research and implement tools and systems that support this strategy and establish any third party training requirements where necessary
- Administer and own fit and proper certification process for training and competence under SMCR
- Work closely and on an ongoing basis with managers to establish team and individual training requirements and feed these into the training programme in a timely manner
- Receive monthly training feedback from the Risk & Compliance Committee (R&CC) to address gaps or weaknesses
