Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate for this role has previously had tremendous success as either an Account Manager or Account Executive at a high-growth SaaS software company, ideally as an early stage or founding team member
- We’re looking for candidates who have a track record of selling a technical product and designing technical solutions for their customers
- You’ll also have a strong grasp of sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, value selling and command of the message
- You will also know how to maximise deal value by moving horizontally or upwards within a reporting structure
- You have 3+ years of experience and success in SaaS Sales or Account Management
- You have a track record of successfully selling to mid-market customers and handling 6 figure deals
- You have had success in another fast-paced SaaS startup or scale-up during a high-growth phase, ideally as a founding or early stage team member
- You have expertise in selling technical products to technical buyers, and are comfortable designing solutions to help your customers meet their objectives
- You are process driven, and an expert in using sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, value selling and command of the message to maximise deal value
- You’re hugely curious and are constantly learning and working on honing your sales craft
- You have a keen interest in AI and V7's wider application
- Preferred to have: sold an emerging solution in Gen AI, Large Language Models, Machine Learning, MLOps or Data Analytics
What the job involves
- As an Account Manager at V7 you will be responsible for driving industry-leading Net Revenue Retention across our Mid-Market accounts
- You’ll be focussed on securing customer renewals, and finding and closing expansion opportunities by selling a suite of V7 products and services
- Be our first Account Manager on the ground in the US

Our take
AI is currently utilised across multiple industries, requiring companies to continuously collect, organise, and label image data so that AI models can adapt to new scenarios. However, the responses they get from AI can easily fall into the simple back-and-forth of chatbots. V7 is changing this through developing AI agents that simulate how humans reason through problems, reducing errors, increasing reliability, and linking the outcome back to its original data source. All of this amounts to vision-based AI models that learn continuously and with minimal human supervision.
V7's Go platform can ingest documents, images and text and boil them down to AI-solvable steps. Alongside automating mundane tasks, the Go platform has a user interface that supports customised workflows - all with no code required. The company says that using only 100 human-annotated examples in its toolkit, it can label the rest of the training data autonomously. Although it found its first customers in medicine and health sciences, its product is being picked up by everyone from tech companies to asset managers and law firms.
With the launch of V7 Go, the company is taking a bold leap into business automation, making powerful AI easy for everyday users. Backed by big-name customers, strong accuracy results, and 2022's Series A investment round, V7 is very much ready to become a major player in the future of work.
