Who you are

Proven track record of multi country payroll processing experience, including setting up new country payrolls
Current experience with Workday HCM/ CloudPay payroll systems and various payroll integrations is beneficial
Demonstrate leadership skills; create and foster a team environment
Extensive knowledge of payroll principles and best practices
Strong analytical skills and ability to perform detailed payroll calculations
Possess clear understanding of taxation of employer provided benefits
Experience with reporting employee equity compensation
Possess an aptitude for customer service
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel/Word)
Experience working for a US publicly held company under SOX compliance beneficial
CIPP is a plus

What the job involves

Develop, mentor, and effectively leverage payroll specialists
Oversee the monthly EMEA region payroll functions (7 countries) to ensure that all payroll related tasks are delivered to deadlines
Assess processes, controls, and employee workload for scale
Focus on improvement and system optimization (Workday/CloudPay), drive change, create efficiencies and manage priorities
Benchmark with industry peers and engage with vendors to identify leading business processes and technologies; evaluate for implementation
Provide support to the APAC/NAMER payroll team(s) where required
Audit and validate all payroll submission data for accuracy and reasonableness
Ensure accurate processing of compensation related to employee equity
Manage tax complexities for Mobile Employees
Review draft payroll reports, validate payroll flux workbooks, and perform controls in accordance with SOX framework
Review and approve payroll funding for each country
Manage month-end and year-end activities to specific deadlines
Collaborate with regional Payroll teams and cross functional partners such as HR, Compliance, Compensation and Benefits, and Workday HRIS
Be a subject matter expert for payroll and point of contact for escalations
Manager vendor and in-country providers to obtain the best service available
Develop ad-hoc payroll reporting as needed
Support the payroll director in designing standardized, consistent, and streamlined processes across regions
