Who you are
- 3-6 years of professional copywriting experience in an agency or fast-paced creative setting
- Proven experience managing or writing for a brand on Twitter/X
- Strong understanding of tech culture and fluency in crypto/Web3 topics
- Experience writing effective email campaigns and lifecycle messaging
- Portfolio that demonstrates range, clarity, and brand voice development
- Ability to write for both B2B and B2C audiences
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a sharp, fast, and versatile copywriter who lives and breathes Twitter/X—someone who knows how to craft smart, scroll-stopping content that cuts through the noise
- You’ll join our creative team to bring ideas to life across brand campaigns, websites, emails, and social—but your superpower is writing short-form, high-impact copy for tech audiences, particularly in the crypto and Web3 space
- This role is perfect for a copywriter who understands tech culture, can think strategically, and knows how to adapt tone and messaging to build brand voice and drive engagement

- Write engaging, on-brand copy across Twitter/X, web, email, and campaign assets
- Responsible for getting approvals and posting on calendar and at times creating posts following big news events
- Responding to comments and reaching out to other communities on socials
- Lead copy development for email campaigns, lifecycle messaging, and product announcements
- Collaborate closely with the PR team to align messaging across earned and owned channels
- Develop and refine brand voice across all digital touch points
- Craft short-form copy that resonates with crypto and tech-native audiences
- Collaborate with art directors, strategists, and account leads from concept to execution
- Balance multiple projects with tight deadlines and quick turnarounds
- Stay current on crypto, blockchain, and Web3 trends, and integrate them into messaging
- Support creative presentations and provide copy rationale when needed
- Mentor or review work from junior writers as needed

The networking infrastructure that powers the way digital applications are designed has changed dramatically over the last decade, with recent innovations including cloud computing and blockchain technology. Combining these technologies can lead to the launching of decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, blockchain networks, and other innovative digital products, but achieving this can be complicated, time-consuming, and expensive.
Overseen by parent company Overclock Labs, Akash Network provides a distributed peer-to-peer marketplace for cloud computing that allows developers to launch DeFi applications rapidly. The software allows pre-developed applications to be packaged in containers with predetermined prices and resource requirements, helping cloud-native, decentralized and serverless apps to be deployed at rapid speeds and at lower costs.
Whilst the solutions that Akash Network provides can already be achieved by software engineers with expertise in cloud computing and blockchain technology, the company recognized that cheaper, simpler, and faster solutions are required for the Web3 vision to scale. The company hopes that its ecosystem will disrupt the centralized cloud platform market, making decentralized apps easier to develop and more consumable.
