Controls Engineer, Nuro

• Knowledge in vehicle dynamics, controls theories, control strategy development and testing
• Passionate about solving real-world challenging autonomous driving problems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter and good team player with strong drive and accountability
• MS in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, aerospace, robotics, or closely related fields with focus on Controls
• Proven experience implementing classical and modern control methods (e.g., PID, LQR, MPC) and/or Machine Learning for Controls through academic projects or professional work
• Strong Embedded C (preferred) or C++ programming skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Conduct hands-on vehicle bring up, controls tuning, testing, and debugging for achieving vehicle performance, quality and drivability targets
