- 5+ years of experience in technical implementation, professional services, or solutions consulting within a SaaS or B2B technology environment
- Demonstrated project management expertise — task definition, timeline ownership, and resource coordination across complex, concurrent projects
- Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of software implementations, from contract signing through go-live
- Experience with ticketing, CRM, or e-commerce systems is a plus (not required)
- Excellent client communication and training skills — able to manage expectations, translate complexity, and build trust
- A proactive problem-solver with strong risk identification instincts and high attention to detail
- Comfort operating in ambiguity — able to figure out what "good" looks like without a defined playbook and bring others along
- Curiosity about how AI and new tools can improve delivery operations — not required to be an expert, but genuinely interested
- Experience in the arts, live events, or attractions industries is a bonus
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a proactive, technically adept Implementation Manager to join the PxT Operations & Implementation team and play a critical role in bringing our ticketing and e-commerce platform to life for our partners
- This role exists to ensure complex client implementations move from signed contract to successful go-live with precision, confidence, and care
- As a hands-on leader reporting to the Director of Implementation, you’ll own the execution of PxT implementations—translating strategic plans into operational reality
- Your work will directly impact partner satisfaction, platform adoption, and long-term client success, ensuring our partners can fully leverage PxT to drive yield, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and run best-in-class box office operations
- What Success Looks Like:
- On-Time, High-Quality Implementations → Client implementations are delivered on schedule, meet technical and business requirements, and launch with minimal post-go-live issues
- Client Confidence & Adoption → Clients are fully trained, confident using the PxT platform, and able to independently manage ticketing, reporting, and day-to-day operations at launch
- Risk & Issue Management → Implementation risks are identified early, clearly communicated, and effectively mitigated before they impact delivery timelines or client trust
- Cross-Functional Execution → Strong partnerships with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support result in smooth implementations and seamless handoffs post-launch
- Team Leadership & Consistency → Direct report is delivering consistent, high-quality execution across all projects
- Own end-to-end implementation delivery — drive day-to-day execution from kickoff through go-live, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are met
- Lead hands-on technical configuration — build and configure client websites and microsites, implement client-specific features, manage data migrations, and support system integrations
- Deliver client training and enablement — develop and lead training sessions ensuring clients are confident using PxT's platform
- Scope and control complex projects — break large initiatives into clear tasks, milestones, and resourcing plans
- Identify and mitigate risk — proactively surface risks, track issues, and implement mitigation strategies
- Build and improve how we work — identify patterns across implementations and translate them into better processes, templates, and tooling. This role is a real opportunity to leave a mark on how PxT scales delivery, leveraging automation and AI
- Explore and apply new tools — bring curiosity to operational challenges, including experimenting with AI and automation to improve efficiency and output quality
- Act as a client-facing leader — serve as a primary point of contact during implementation, translating client needs into clear technical requirements for internal teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally — partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support to resolve blockers and ensure smooth post-launch transitions
- Support ongoing client success — monitor performance post-launch and help clients maximize platform value
- Manage testing and quality assurance — oversee QA and UAT processes before launch
- Mentor and develop direct reports — provide clear prioritization, regular feedback, and support for professional growth
Our take
Founded in 2013 by Broadway veterans Brian Fenty and Merritt Baer, TodayTix Group has grown to become a global eCommerce leader for cultural experiences. Aiming to connect a worldwide audience with theatre, opera and dance productions, to date it has sold over 70 million tickets to 200,000 shows listed on its platform.
While numerous ticket sellers exist, TodayTix was an innovator in this area, arriving at a time when mobile devices accounted for less than 1/1000th of all theatrical ticket sales. Standing out with its extensive tech stack including widgets, API and white label software for its partners, it is able to provide an excellent customer experience with a checkout process of less than 30 seconds. This has led to around 5% of all sales on Broadway being processed through TodayTix's platform today.
Since 2020, TodayTix has focused heavily on acquisitions, focusing on tech-forward, advertising, theatre and cultural event companies. These include Goldstar, Show-Score, Arthouse, Encore, and Broadway Roulette. TodayTix has acquired Secret Cinema in 2022, growing its participation in the immersive film and television events space and strengthening its market-leading position in the entertainment industry.
