Who you are
- You are creative, strategic, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong communication, relationship building and project management skills
- As an accomplished product marketer, you have experience partnering with product managers and large cross-functional teams to bring products/services to life
- You pride yourself in thinking like our consumers and business partners, and you have a track record for delivering insights-driven marketing plans that produce excellent business results
- You have experience mentoring more junior members on the team and work collaboratively across all areas of the organization
- 8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 4 years specifically in Product Marketing
- Experience driving nationwide campaigns, communications, go-to-market initiatives, and revenue
- Ability to apply consumer insights, research and testing to drive world-class marketing strategy
- Experience developing pricing and promotion strategies
- Experience with A/B testing, aligning on KPI’s, tracking and interpreting results, and recommending go-forward next steps
- Experience influencing product strategy, design and development timelines and processes
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), comfortable presenting to executives and partners
- Strong experience writing creative briefs
- Success working with product, creative, sales, legal, finance, operations, customer service and quality assurance teams
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or higher degree preferred

What the job involves
- As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will help drive LegalZoom’s growth by shaping product vision and consumer perception across our business product portfolio
- You will also contribute to the optimization of our product experiences, focusing on cultivating the long-term relationship we form with our customers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, launch, and grow our services and customer base
- Establish positioning, packaging and pricing for your business portfolio of products
- Recommend commercialization and campaign opportunities to meet or exceed business goals
- Develop go-to-market strategies to support product launches and drive conversions and revenue
- Own the end-to-end business customer journey, delivering a delightful experience that ensures a long-term relationship with LegalZoom
- Understand the competitive landscape – be an expert on our competition and how they position themselves with commercialization, claims, messaging, and product journeys
- Monitor business health, trends, and changing consumer needs to develop actions plans for your business segments
- Influence product strategy, testing, research and content roadmaps to optimize our position
- Spearhead market research projects for your portfolio to better understand the market and gather intelligence to help inform pricing, product features and benefits, and messaging
- Create and optimize claims and messaging that will resonate with prospective customers
- Develop and maintain sales collateral to support sales teams
- Work with Marketing, Product Management, UX/Creative, Sales, Customer Care, PR, Engineering, Legal, Business Development to ensure a great customer experience

LegalZoom has helped millions of people who otherwise could not hire a lawyer, with its extensive range of legal solutions. It competes with a handful of other companies, such as IncFile and Rocket Lawyer, that also provide online legal technology.
However, it has found space to grow its operations nonetheless, partially due to the rise in interest in digital solutions. An IPO in 2021 also enabled LegalZoom's growth, though in 2024 a class action is underway to investigate the company's significantly lowered share prices.
