What the job involves
- Mimecast is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a high-performing group of Account Managers within our fast-paced, rapidly growing Customer Development team at Mimecast
- This team manages our upper mid-market accounts
- Understanding the corporate technology stack and cloud computing is beneficial
- Lead, coach, and manage the team to achieve upsell revenue targets, mitigate down-sell and churn, and deliver accurate sales forecasts
- Develop and execute sales and account activity plans in collaboration with the Partner/Channel Development team
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, driving incremental revenue by selling new technology and solutions to existing accounts
- Travel to visit customers for account reviews and relationship development
- Oversee business administration, including KPI reporting, CRM management, and adherence to sales methodology
- Collaborate cross-functionally and participate in ongoing training and development
- Weekly end-user activities, pipeline metrics, customer retention, account growth, and monthly customer visits
